Teaching Biblically
We value God’s Word; it is our roadmap to following Jesus. We desire to equip people in their journey with Jesus to unlock deep biblical truth to live transformed lives.
Love God. Love people. Build a longer table.
We are a community connected to God’s Word that reaches our city.
We believe that Scripture explicitly depicts one sovereign Creator God reflected in Trinitarian communion—God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2).
The Spirit sustains and nourishes all believers, and is the source that gives the church life. The Spirit becomes the element that bonds each believer to both God and other believers (Ephesians 2:18; 1 Corinthians 6:19; John 14:26).
We believe that all Scripture is God-breathed and inspired through the direct action and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is a faithful witness to the true nature and identity of God and serves as a testament to His redemptive relationship with humanity (2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 22:29, John 5:39; 16:13-15).
We are saved by grace through our faith in Jesus Christ. Christ offers salvation as an act of grace which was obtained through his atonement and is not a result from our own efforts or works. (Romans 3:22; Galatians 2:16; Ephesians 2:8-9; Philippians 3:9).
Church is not an event you attend but a family you belong to. The church is sent by Christ into the world and guided by the Holy Spirit. The purpose of the church is to participate in the proclamation of the established kingdom of God (Romans 10:14-15; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23).
God created humanity good and without sin. The introduction of sin into the relationship between God and humanity was the catalyst that ushered evil into a world which God made good (Genesis 1:31; Psalm 51:4; 1 Corinthians 15:21-22).
We believe God designed marriage to be a union between one man and one woman in which believers are called to love, encourage, and build up one another (Genesis 1:27-28; 2:18-24; Ephesians 5:31-33).
Baptism is a public statement of a believer’s faith in Christ and serves as a testimony of their commitment to serving God. Communion is an act of remembrance and celebration that we as Christians partake in to show gratitude, appreciation, and acknowledgement for what Christ accomplished (Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34; John 6:33-35).
We value God’s Word; it is our roadmap to following Jesus. We desire to equip people in their journey with Jesus to unlock deep biblical truth to live transformed lives.
We take a posture of compassion and grace. We are all in need of God’s grace. We reflect the love of Jesus meeting people where they are and offering them hope found in Jesus.
We embrace a regular rhythm of worship both gathering inside and outside the physical church building. We believe that community is vital to Spiritual development.
We believe that radical generosity is powerful and can ultimately change us and the world. We give our time, talent, and treasure from a heart of gratitude.
We believe that we are God’s agents of change in our community. We need to urgently seek and save the lost, expand God’s Kingdom, and share the Good News of Jesus because tomorrow is never promised.
We are so excited to meet you!
